Why do you want to attend a bridal show? Save your money and save your time by seeing the finest selection of your local bridal professional! See the latest in wedding trends and fashion, and find ideas you can use you create the wedding day of your dreams! Here are some of our tips on how to get the most out of our Oregon Wedding Showcase.

Put on your Comfy Shoes!

There is so much to see at the Oregon Wedding Showcase you will be browsing the aisles for hours. Be sure to leave your Mahnolos at home and wear those comfy old Sketchers or Keds.

Have a girl's day out!

Bring your friends, your wedding party, and your mom along to enjoy the big show! This gives them all a chance to feel more involved in your Big Day, and you'll be glad to have objective friends or family there to help with your planning. Plus –it also means extra hands to help share carrying home all of the loot you're going to gather! (Want to bring the groom? Remind him that there will be delicious samples everything, from BBQ to luscious wedding cake!)

Make it a weekend event!

The Oregon Wedding Showcase takes place on both days over the weekend –so if you come to the show on Saturday, you can ask for a return ticket to get in again on Sunday! Visit on Saturday with all of the gals in your wedding party; then come back with your groom on Sunday to show him what you have discovered! (This works especially well if the groom has a limited amount of time or if your man is allergic to wedding shopping!)

BYOL (Bring Your Own Labels)

Many of our wedding vendors have drawings for prizes at their booths. Save your writing hand from cramping and come prepared! Bring along a sheet or two of mailing labels printed up at home with your contact information (we recommend Avery 5160 – 30 labels per page, and your favorite software programs are guaranteed to have formatting template which makes them a breeze to use!). You'll want to your contact information to include your name, your address, your phone number, your email address, and your wedding date!

Ask, Ask, Ask!

This is your big chance to talk with all kinds of wedding professionals –so don't be shy! Talk to the vendors and ask questions about their services, get the details on the wedding packages they offer, and how they can best serve you on your very special day! (A great tip: bring along ribbons or swatches with your wedding colors! This can help our vendors best help you!)

Bring your checkbook!

Many vendors will offer special day-of-the-bridal-show discounts, and many vendors or wedding venues book fast, so if you find the perfect photographer or your perfect wedding spot, you will want to be prepared to put down a deposit!

Make your dates!

The Oregon Wedding Showcase is your place to browse, compare prices, compare services, and gather your impressions of the individual styles and unique qualities of each of our vendors. Be prepared to schedule private sit-down appointments with your favorite vendors, where you and the wedding professional can discuss your style and your vision of your perfect wedding day to ensure that you've found the perfect helper.

Got Gown?

Just because you already have your dress picked out doesn't mean you will not want to watch the fashion show! They are designed to be entertaining as well as informative. In addition to gorgeous gowns they feature bouquets, jewelry, and fashions for the wedding party. And, it's a great reason to sit down and take a little break! If you don't need a break take advantage of spending some quality time with a particular vendor.
